There Are 2 Distinct Types of Fatigue—Here’s How They Affect Your Motivation

How long does grief last?

I’m a step parent to two children, I pay all of the bills and support everyone financially, my significant others family and the children’s fathers are telling them I’m unimportant, my opinion doesn’t matter, etc. How should I handle this?

How do I get my 19-year-old daughter who lives with me to understand that just because I used a disrespectful tone at her does not give her the right to use a rude tone at me?

My six-year-old niece does not allow me to study. She turns off my computer so I cannot do my college work and starts crying or throwing objects at me. Should I yell at her?

My sixteen-year-old daughter has recently started collecting Barbies. My husband thinks it's ridiculous, and it causes our six-year-old to be jealous. Should we ask her to stop buying them?

How do I explain to my 9-year-old that her dad and I are leaving her behind with my childless younger sister so we can work in Bora Bora, in a way that she’d understand, since she has developmental delays? We will come back for her someday.

Why do teenagers feel that they can't tell their parents most things?

What do I do? My husband has been really upset at me and distancing himself from me because I tried to make his 15 year old daughter call me “mom”. He said “I don’t like her mother but she has a mom, please respect that”. He said it’s her choice
